Noliqua Legacy is pioneering large-scale commercial snail farming in South Africa, supplying high-quality snails for human consumption and developing innovative snail mucin-based skincare products.
Achievements
In 2020, Bayanda Maseko took over his family farm to manage it full-time, and he endeavored to study Business and Farm Management courses.
In 2022, Bayanda graduated from the Farm Business Management and Vegetable Production course. He was funded and mentored by Sasol SA through Buhle Farmers Academy.
In 2023, Bayanda graduated from the AGCO Africa Agribusiness Qualifications program and was nominated for FOYA Agripreneur of the Year 2024.
In 2024, Noliqua Legacy was selected as the top enterprise to represent South Africa at GEC+Africa 2024. In the same year, Bayanda received the FOYA Africa Agripreneur of the Year 2024 award, among many other accolades.
